Exceptions & Special Events
Parking may be prohibited for safety reasons, such as near a crosswalk or areas designated as "No Stopping Any Time." There may be limits on the amount of time a vehicle may park to support the needs of businesses, or parking may be reserved for a special group, such as individuals with disabilities. During many downtown events, it is often necessary to "hood" meters or block-off entire sections of road, making it illegal to park in those locations. Please respect these temporary blockades, as they are done for both the safety of drivers and those attending the event. |
