Meter Smart Cards
Parking Meter Smart Cards
Quick & Convenient!
Don't have enough change for the parking meter? Tired of saving quarters? Make your parking experience more convenient with the new Smart Card!
Smart Cards and the Parking Pilot Program
During the Parking Pilot program, the Smart Cards cannot be used, due to the hooding of all the meters downtown. However, the meters are not going away forever. This program will help us with future pricing strategies and locations of metered parking. The Smart Cards will still be a convenient way to feed time on a meter in the absence of change, once metered parking is back in place. The Smart Cards never expire and can still be used the same way as before, so it is a good idea to hold on to them.
What's a Smart Card?
All meters are now equipped to use Smart Cards as well as coins! Smart cards give you the ability slip a card into any meter downtown and simply deduct money from your parking account! Also, Smart Cards are the size of a credit card, so they fit conveniently in your wallet or pocket. (watch video)
Purchase a Smart Card
Smart Cards can be purchased at the parking office located at the corner of 4th and Harrison in downtown Davenport (across from the Police Station). The reloadable Smart Cards can be purchased in any denomination. ![]() How to use a Smart Card
