Yard Waste Drop-off Guidelines
The Davenport Compost Facility accepts clean yard waste from Scott County, Iowa only. A tipping fee is required depending on the type and quantity of waste. Yard waste is accepted bagged or loose. Plastic bags must be emptied and disposed of. Kraft paper bags may be left intact. Loose loads are charged cubic yard volumes (area 3' X 3' x 3'). This material is composted to create environmentally beneficial soil amendments. The following table lists acceptable/unacceptable items and fees. Davenport and Bettendorf provide citizens with periodic free yard waste drop-off and curb side service. See your "Garbage Guide" for additional details.
