The City of Davenport has been creating and maintaining the majority of its data in a Geographic Information System (GIS) format since the mid 90's.  The GIS is a tool used to help manage City assets (streets, sanitary & storm systems, property lines, etc.) along with various boundary districts (wards, zoning, zip code, etc.).  Having the City's information in a GIS has improved the response time to citizen requests along with providing support for internal City projects.

GIS Map Online

The City's GIS is now available online.  This will allow the public to view an interactive map of the City of Davenport and overlay specific pieces of information at their own discretion.   Map layers, such as, City ward boundaries, parks, creeks, zoning districts, and property data is available to view and click on for more information.  Having the GIS online will allow citizens to get answers to some of their questions at their own convenience.

To view the map, please click on the link "Access Interactive GIS Map".  There is also a help document "Help Guide for Interactive GIS Map" that has steps to guide the user through some of the functions of the map.
