Special Transit Agreements
CitiBus has entered transit agreements with local educational institutions to promote access to education, reduce traffic congestion and address parking limitations at some campuses.  Through these agreements students, faculty and staff may ride for free.  Use this link to find out more.

Transit Ambassador Program
Davenport CitiBus, Bettendorf Transit and River Bend Transit are partnered with Iowa QC senior service agencies and the Scott County Health Department to help seniors stay mobile.  The team is available to visit senior living facilities and hold informational presentations for interested residents explaining how to use the transit system.  Volunteers who wish to become Ambassadors receive additional training, qualifying them to be the "go to" person for others who would like to use public transportation but need a bit of coaching or encouragement.

Davenport CitiBus also provides transit training sessions for any group, agency, or organization who makes the request.  If your school, agency, or business works with individuals for whom transportation is an issue, consider a training session for staff so they may well informed and able to assist.    If your group is interested in learning more about alternative transportation options in our area, including bike and bus - give us a call.  The transit systems encourage ambassadors throughout the community to help educate and assist others so all may enjoy as many options as possible in attaining/maintaining independence and healthy commuting.

If you are interested in learning more about the Senior Ambassador's program and/or would like to arrange an informational transit presentation for your group or organization,  please call Becky at 309.793.6302 ext.144 or 309.738.7746.
