Davenport Fire Department recently held its annual defensive driver training at the Blong Center.
The Coaching Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) training includes a driving course with six stations that require drivers to do lane changes, back into an alley dock, a serpentine, a sharp right-hand turn, a diminished clearance and a three-point turnaround.
The training also includes interactive videos and reviews of the City's driving policies and pump operation procedures.
