Quad-City Chamber of Commerce logoOfficials from the Quad-City Chambers of Commerce and City of Davenport announced that $397,875 has been raised to assist businesses affected by flooding and is available for disbursement.

"This year's historic flood put a spotlight on the very limited resources available to help businesses recover from state and federal declared natural disasters. Thanks to a very generous Quad-City community, Grow Quad-Cities received funding that will be granted directly to busineses to help them get back on their feet," said Paul Rumler, president and CEO of the Quad-Cities Chamber. "These impacted businesses are critical to the economic well-being of our region, and the Quad-Cities Chamber will continue to advocate for additional resources and new solutions to protect and encourage investment along the region's riverfronts."

Grant applications for business and property owners relief are available for download at http://quadcitieschamber.com or http://downtowndavenport.com. Davenport businesses located in the downtown SSMID district are eligible to apply for both funds. Application deadline is 5 p.m. on July 3.
