Party in the Parks this summer

Party in the Park logoDavenport will host seven “Party in the Park” evenings at neighborhood parks from June 13th through Sept. 5. The two-hour events will be on selected Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

In addition to food, entertainment, and fun for the kids, the events will offer an opportunity for neighbors to meet neighbors, visitors to learn about the neighborhoods surrounding the parks, and everyone to hold face-to-face conversations with people from all city departments about concerns and opportunities facing the city.

The Scott County auditor’s office will be available to register neighbors to vote, not-for-profit organizations will be there to talk about their services, and neighborhood associations will be on hand as well. Food will be provided by The Lunchbox courtesy of Ruhl & Ruhl, Vibrant Credit Union and other sponsors.
“Party in the Park” is a community engagement initiative of Davenport staff and elected officials.
