The Davenport Police Department has an authorized strength of 164 Police Officers and 50 civilian employees. The Department handles over 140,000 calls for service annually and has an advanced computer dispatch system, integrated in-car computers and an enhanced 911 service, supported by an outstanding, professional and dedicated group of men and women. The Davenport Police Department is also very proud to state that it is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
